10 ways to save your grocery bill

  1. Never shop withiout a list.
  2. When a big sale hits on items your family uses often, stock up.
  3. Shop at stores that double or triple coupons.
  4. For your first few months of couponing, dedicate your savings to a speial fund for a deep freeze.
  5. Bring a calculator.
  6. Leave the kids home when you shop.
  7. Ask butcher/produce manager/other staff about upcoming sales and specials.
  8. Compile a list of what your family buy most often, then note the regular store price wherever you regularly shop.
  9. Use a coupon organizer and always keep it with you (in your car).
  10. Watch the cash register screen as your items  are being rung up to be sure you are charged correctly.
